Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading branding, creative design, and communication strategy at Jamestown UMC. You will partner with church and ministry leaders to effectively convey their vision and communications priorities to appropriate audiences and will design relevant communication for both internal and external audiences that inspires participation and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication plans that align with institutional mission
- Conduct thorough research to support communication initiatives and ensure accuracy in messaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create cohesive messaging across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Communications or a related field.
- Proven experience in communications or marketing is preferred.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content tailored for different audiences.
- Excellent verbal communication and graphic design skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
