JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking an organized and empathetic Reentry Case Manager to support our clients in their re-integration into the community and help them live their own best lives. The ideal candidate will be able to connect justice involved individuals to services that will assist them in returning to independent life in the Juneau community. The ideal Reentry Case Manager will have a strong understanding of local services in the Juneau area, including connecting clients to resources such as the food bank, education, employment, and housing support. They will be able to work independently without constant supervision and be comfortable working with clients both in the correctional facility and out in the community.
This is a full-time position with office hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pay rates offered are determined based on a standardized scale that considers relevant experience and education.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience; preferably working in a social service or similar agency that provides services to people who have been involved in the criminal justice system.
- High School diploma/GED; postsecondary education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with people who have mental health and /or substance use disorders preferred.
All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver’s license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving.
