JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking a detail-orientated and personable JASAP Coordinator to manage treatment and participation in the Juneau Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP). In this role, you’ll conduct substance use screenings to classify cases properly and monitor clients’ attendance and participation of the program. You’ll guide clients through the onboarding process by introducing them to essential JAMHI services, and provide Case Management services to those under ASAP. The ideal JASAP Coordinator will have strong communication skills, be comfortable navigating the court system and collaborating with external partners, and able to maintain accurate records in line with JAMHI and ASAP policies.
Pay rates offered are determined based on a standardized scale that considers relevant experience and education.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience providing direct service in the field of human services
- One year of experience in record keeping, can be concurrent with above
- Post-secondary education can substitute for experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience working in the substance use field
- Experience working with juveniles and/or adults in substance abuse or criminal justice settings.
- Knowledge of state and local laws related to DUI, Domestic Violence Assault, and alcohol/drug-related offenses.
All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver’s license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving.
