DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
The Maintenance mechanic performs a variety of tasks involved in the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and related structures, fixtures, and utilities. Typical work assignments include the performance of visual examinations and operational tests to determine the need for, and the performance of, repair work on a wide level of difficulty and responsibility of trades shown in the following examples.

REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- High School (HS) or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Proven mechanical experience preferred.
- Detailed oriented.
- Physical ability
- Technical ability
- Organizational skills.
- Problem solving ability
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Able to work quickly under pressure.
- Able to work in a team and be willing to adapt to new situations as they arise.
