What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position at Jane Roberts Consulting?
As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for this global chemicals company, large production site south of Houston , you will effectively provide technical support to Root Cause Failure Analyses, monitor Preventative Maintenance / Predictive Maintenance programs, support the Mechanical Integrity inspection process to ensure timely repairs, troubleshoot complex mechanical equipment problems including proposing and implementing sustainable solutions and work processes.
Must have :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 3-7 years of applicable experience in a chemical plant, petrochemicals plant or refinery (A MUST)
- Experience in a chemical plant or refinery operation working with rotating and fixed equipment, centrifugal pumps, piping systems, pressure vessels (including heat exchangers), atmospheric storage tanks, positive displacement pumps, relief devices and compressors of various design
- Knowledge of applicable industry codes and maintenance best practices
- Broad-based and hands on knowledge and experience with various types of mechanical equipment.
- Experience with manufacturing reporting systems, specifically SAP
