About the Position
We are looking for a graduating senior or recent graduate who is interested in human resources to join our cohort of HR Rotational Coordinators.
The HR Rotational Coordinator role is a full-time position that will prepare you for a career in HR at Jane Street. Over the course of 2.5 years, you will spend time in at least three distinct areas of HR, where you will develop skills and relationships across the team and business before being permanently placed in a group on our growing global HR team.
Depending on business needs, some rotations may include: New Hire Onboarding & Experience, Immigration & Mobility, Benefits & Leaves of Absence, Talent Development, and Campus & Lateral Recruiting. During each rotation, you will have exposure to and ownership over operational and strategic work in your areas, with opportunities for additional project work as needed with HR business partners and in areas such as compensation and HR systems.
This will be a bespoke program designed around the individuals we recruit and their aptitudes and strengths, as well as the evolving needs and priorities of our global team. While we think foundational HR generalist knowledge is critical to a successful career in human resources, we’re excited to develop the program with and around its participants.
About You
- Graduating senior or recent graduate with up to one year of professional experience
- Able to handle competing priorities and work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; can organize and analyze data
- Excellent interpersonal, speaking, and writing skills
- Discreet and trustworthy
- Positive, professional attitude and presence
- Responsible self-starter with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, courteous, and flexible team player
- Fluency in English required
