Assistant Designer Position DescriptionJane Win is a boutique jewelry line based in Wayne PA. We create coin jewelry and charms with meaning, designed to create a connection with the wearer.This position is in person 4 days a week, remote one day. Office located in Wayne, PA. Please do not apply for this position if you cannot work in office in Wayne, PA.Responsibilities : Design and Product Development : Work closely with Design Director on all aspects of design including : o Coordinate and present trend reports and market research reports quarterlyo Assemble inspiration boards and sketch packets for quarterly development and collaborationso Hand sketch new product designso Create tech packs for CAD development and sample developmento Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create renderings of CADs for presentationo Order stones and arrange style packets for domestic fine jewelry productiono Meet virtually with CAD designers on new developmentsUtilize the engraving machine for custom pieces : o Build AI files for customer engravings and use the machine to engrave pendantso Work with Design Director on creating new layouts and templates for engravable products in IllustratorAssist the Design Director in preparing for photoshoots, including arranging product looks and building photo deckRoutinely update seasonal linesheets and communicate updates to the teamProduct Management : Create product listings in Shopify and work with Marketing Team to arrange necessary product shotsCreate product development spreadsheets in Excel for seasonal products that will be used by production, marketing, and wholesale teamsWork closely with production team on updating prices of product in ShopifyWork with customer service on product repairs and replatingsParticipate in routine inventory countsOffice : Participate in various company-wide events that require all-hand-on deck (packing orders for annual sales, assisting in open-showroom trunk shows, and annual sample sale)Oversee the product in the showroom to ensure new product is on display when launchedWork closely with the Design Director in : o Organizing and labeling product for annual sample saleo Coordinating and assembling components for annual gifting setsMinimum Job Requirements, Skills, & AbilitiesBachelors degree in Fashion, Design or related fieldsOne year of experience in fashion and / or jewelry design or related fieldStrong organizational and time management skillsKeen attention to detailKnowledge of PCs, Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel), Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop)Strong communication skills, both in writing and working with peopleThis is an in-office full-time position in Wayne, PA
