Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers by understanding their financial needs and providing easy-to-understand solutions.
- Manage customer accounts – Open, close, and maintain personal and business deposit accounts.
- Assist with everyday banking transactions – Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other routine transactions accurately.
- Promote bank products & services – Educate customers about savings accounts, loans, CDs, and online banking options in a way that puts their interests first.
- Support area farmers & small businesses – Help our agricultural customers and business owners find the right financial tools to support their growth.
- Resolve account inquiries – Assist customers with questions, troubleshoot account issues, and ensure a smooth banking experience.
- Support branch operations – Assist with night deposits, the vault, and ATM balancing.
- Engage with the community – Represent JSB at local events and support outreach efforts to strengthen relationships with residents and businesses.

- Comfort with technology – Ability to learn banking software and assist customers with online banking.

- Prior cash handling and customer service experience preferred but not required – we are willing to train the right candidate!
