What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor Lead - AM or PM Shift, Full-Time position at JaniTech?
We are currently hiring candidates for the Janitor Lead position in South Burlington, VT. Full time positions are eligible for benefits, including health insurance and PTO. We offer flexible but consistent hours both evenings and daytime, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends.
Location: South Burlington, VT
Shift: Monday-Friday
Hours: Day or Evening
Pay: Up to $22/hr, depending on experience
Janitor Lead Responsibilities and Duties:
- General cleaning and special project work to include interior/exterior glass cleaning, carpet cleaning, strip/wax hard floors, and general cleaning.
- Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depleted.
- Opportunity to lead and direct teams.
- Support multiple clients at various locations throughout Chittenden County.
Janitor Lead Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of supervisor or lead experience.
- Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle.
- Successfully pass a Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report.
- Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.
- Excellent organizational skills.'
- Effective communication skills.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify.
Janitor Lead Physical Requirements:
- Move or traverse through assigned work areas.
- Frequent reaching and lifting.
- Frequent bending, kneeling and squatting.
- Ability to handle a variety of cleaning materials/substances.
- Lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
