Duties
- Interaction with clients
- Assist attorneys in preparing for litigation by organizing case files and managing documentation.
- Provide executive administrative support by scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining client communication.
- Manage project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met for various legal matters.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and electronic documents.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for cases, particularly in estate planning and personal injury law.
- Utilize software such as PCLaw for case management and billing purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience in a legal administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management principles to effectively handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong skills in legal drafting and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Experience with litigation processes is a plus, particularly in personal injury law or worker's compensation law.
- Proficiency in research methodologies relevant to the legal field.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
