SUMMARY
Hotel management company seeks Traveling/Task Force General Manager for select service hotels; Marriott, IHG, Hilton Brands, Wyndham and Choice brands. Extensive Travel necessary in Midwest and East Coast locations to help train General Managers and fill in at times for the GM until one is hired.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Performs essential functions of General Manager in the absence of assigned General Manager
- Provides support to the General Manager as directed by the Regional Vice President or other above property management
- Extensive travel to properties, including extended stays, depending on operational needs
- Maintain efficient operations that produce positive results. Management of property openings requires a tactical, detail-oriented approach focused on meeting objectives in both time and quality.
- Works with all assigned properties to ensure that the best possible results are achieved in all categories of performance in the basic duties and responsibilities identified below taking necessary actions to ensure the successful operation of the hotel and the achievement of the company’s performance expectations: Guest Relations
- Monitors property for compliance with brand surveys and online reviews in both results and responses
- Implement & manage revenue generation programs that set expectations, strategies, and tactics to drive base and incremental revenue
- Ensures excellent condition of each asset in order to maximize guest and owner satisfaction
- Inspects buildings to ensure all brand standards are met
- Ensures consistent enforcement of all policies and procedures related to the operation of the hotel
- Review performance reports for each property on a daily basis to identify trends and ensure proper operation of the property according to company policy and procedures
- Responsible for overall performance of each property as measured by key performance indicators (ex. Occupancy, RevPAR, Net Operating Income, etc.)
- Assists executive management team with projects as needed.
- experience in annual budget planning
- All other duties as assigned
Salary based on experience plus benefits after 90-days.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or related experience and training.
Minimum of 3 years of Hotel General Manager , Assistant General Manager or Regional property management experience; multi-brand exposure preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera or Fossi, strong knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and outlook.
