Your Mission :
As a Revenue Cycle Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our billing, coding, and collections processes. You will work closely with our Revenue Cycle Specialist to resolve billing discrepancies, process claims, and provide exceptional support to our patients and providers.
What You'll Do :
- Manage Patient Billing : Ensure all billing information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Claims Submission : Assist in submitting claims to insurance providers and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
- Verify Insurance Information : Review and verify patient insurance details for accuracy.
- Reconcile Accounts : Identify and resolve discrepancies in patient accounts.
- Customer Interaction : Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing inquiries.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance policies.
- Track Claims : Monitor and track claim status, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate : Work with clinical staff to ensure proper coding of services.
- Reporting : Assist in preparing reports and tracking key revenue cycle metrics.
- Confidentiality : Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to privacy regulations.
- Customer Service : Provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Other Duties : Perform other duties as assigned to support the revenue cycle process.

Pay & Benefits
At Janus, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $25.00 and $28.00 per hour and your base pay will be considered on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.

As part of our team, you'll frequently move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, ensuring everything is in the right place for our various needs. You'll also have the opportunity to stay active by occasionally moving around the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and more.
