Summary
A Japanese automotive parts manufacturer is seeking a Japanese Interpreter to join its production team. This role involves supporting communication between Japanese-speaking staff and local team members. Candidates must have prior experience as an interpreter in the manufacturing industry, with preference given to those with a background in the press industry. Strong Japanese language skills and an interest in data analysis and process improvement are also essential. This position serves as a replacement for a team member returning to Japan in mid-2025, with a preferred start date of May 2025.
Essential Duties
- Provide Japanese-English interpretation during meetings, training sessions, and on the production floor.
- Translate technical documents, emails, and reports between Japanese and English.
- Support data analysis and process improvement initiatives in the production department.
- Facilitate effective communication between local staff and Japanese-speaking team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Working Hours and Style
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Occasional overtime may be required, depending on production needs.
Working Location
- Cullman, AL
Salary/Benefits
- Annual salary: $50,000–$60,000, based on experience.
- Relocation assistance: Up to $3,000 (depending on location).

Qualifications
