Project Estimator Job Summary: Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team for Street, Road, Highway & Heavy Civil Construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various costs for construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
· Experience with developing accurate & reliable estimates for earthwork projects
· Ability to understand plans & specifications to determine project requirements
· Ability to do takeoffs and project modeling to create detailed proposals
· Knowledge of construction & estimating software
· Clean Motor Vehicle R and respectable employment history
· Required to have 1 Foreman’s meeting per week to review current Schedule, RFI’s, Change Orders and Issues (Via Zoom or in person)
· Communicate with Foreman daily make sure that the Forman has all the information and answers to all his questions that arise
· Manage cost codes to ensure all tracking is up to date and accurate (if applicable to your projects)
Procore
· It is 100% the PM’s responsibly to keep project information up to date and current for the duration of all projects in Procore.
· Manage and input all RFI’s, RFP’s, and Bulletins from start to finish so all questions have been answered.
· Procore items include, but not limited to:
· Drawings, Job Set Up Specifications, Submittals, RFI’s & RFP, Documents
Experience:
· Construction: 10 years (Required) Project Manager
· Highway & Street Construction: 5 years (Required)
· Work Location: In person
Requirements:
· 10 years of estimating experience and/or street, road, highway construction experience
· Holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
· Exceptional computer skills
· Proficient in ProCore, MS Suite
· Certificates, License, Registrations:
· Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a safe driving record
· Ability to analyze problems and create solutions that add value to the client and the company
