What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis position at Jarvis Walker?
The Director, FP&A will be a key member of the corporate finance team, managing the strategic planning, budgeting and forecast process in support of the Senior Vice President. This individual will work cross functionally to gain alignment across senior leadership on budgeted company initiatives. This position is responsible for managing the Global financials as well as managing business unit financials ensuring that resources are efficiently managed and investments are allocated to generate the highest possible return. This position will provide financial and strategic support to senior management including financial presentations, financial modeling & driving process improvement. This role will report into the Sr. Director, FP&A.
What You'll Do
- Oversee management and execution of all departments’ budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan & modeling.
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Identify and analyze how changes in strategic and new initiatives will impact financial performance
- Prepare financial presentations to senior executives.
- Drive an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analyses that link to the strategic objectives
- Oversee annual, quarterly and monthly financial reporting responsibilities.
- Supervision of support team of 2 Senior Analysts, ensuring they are effectively delivering to their business partners, providing accurate financial support in support of our earnings process, and continue to grow professionally.

Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- At least 10-12 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
