We just need you to have a “can do, ready to learn” mindset.)   Installs all major components in a manual truck transmission. Inspects Measure clutches, gears, cast iron and truck parts for the manual unit. Handles (lifting, carrying, etc.) parts, gears, cast, completed assemblies (counter shaft / main shaft) over 5 lbs. Examines / Inspects threads, pumps, gearing, paint jobs, and other sub-components, etc. Uses variety of tools ranging from hand tools to impacts. Performs other duties as assigned.   Physical Requirements:   Must stand for 8 hours per day. Frequent walking. Hearing protection may be required in some areas. The ability to see fine details may be required during performance of some functions. Fine motor skills are required (finger / hand manipulation).
