What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Java House?
You will be a key point of contact to the day-to-day employees, front-line leader coaching, and primary point of contact for onboarding, recruiting, employee relations, and administration for Java House staff.
Emphasis is 75% Recruitment and 25% Onboarding Management and Employee Relations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full recruiting cycle of professional sales employees and working jointly with leadership in hiring of employees
- Sourcing, outreach, screening, scheduling & coordinating, offers, hiring
- Providing guidance, support, and coordination in a consistent and effective application of policies, procedures and practices of the HR department
- Responsible for coordinating onboarding process for new Java House corporate team members
- Responsible for offboarding all Java House corporate team members
- Book and coordinate travel, lodging and transportation (when needed)
- Evaluate and continually develop onboarding content and process
- Create reporting process for onboarding effectiveness
- Person of contact for all Office Coffee System (OCS) team members
- Expense tracking for OCS team
- All other duties as assigned:
- Track and secure all demo collateral when onboarding/offboarding OCS team members
- IT Troubleshooting, as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration/management
- Minimum 3 years Human Resources experience including minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and HRIS Systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; interacting with all levels of the organization
- Must be extremely organized, accurate and detail oriented
- Proven ability to manage full recruiting process
Physical Demands
- Must be able to physically perform he functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- Must be able to work seated using a computer for long periods of time
- Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime/an occasional weekend
- Must possess visual acuity to document company records
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
