Position Overview
As a Hearing Coverage Attorney, you will play a key role in representing the firm at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court appearances throughout the Dallas area, including Dallas, Denton, Collin, and Tarrant counties. You will be expected to manage a high volume of court appearances and will have the opportunity to demonstrate your legal expertise and grow within a well-established, yet forward-thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the firm in hearings, pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court-related matters in designated counties.
- Manage a high-volume caseload and meet tight deadlines while maintaining the quality of work.
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Communicate directly with opposing counsel and court personnel as needed.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
- Court experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to handle legal proceedings independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in computer and word processing applications.
