What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aquarium Store Technician position at Jawz Aquarium?
Jawz Aquarium is retail/service business specializing in the care and sale of live tropical and marine animals for aquariums. We install, maintain and service aquariums around the country. Jawz offers a range of in-office/home service plans tailored to meet the specific needs of our service customers. Additionally, we assist our retail customers by providing expert knowledge on the set up, care and maintenance of their aquariums. Jawz strives to deliver the best quality service to meet our customers’ needs. We are currently seeking dedicated, motivated and eager individuals to join our team. We are willing to train the right individuals in this exciting and growing field. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in retail store, by maintaining aquarium tanks, stocking supplies, acclimating livestock from wholesalers, feeding livestock, bagging fish and corals, cleaning tanks, preparing food, dosing, maintaining equipment, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 60 lbs
