Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, tablets, monitors, and other IT equipment.
- Perform security camera installations, including mounting, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Run conduit and Ethernet cabling as needed (experience preferred).
- Configure and manage basic networking tasks, including router setup, subnet management, and network equipment identification.
- Utilize a ticketing system to prioritize and resolve IT requests efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and detail-oriented approach to IT asset management and documentation.
- Work with the IT Director on larger-scale projects and initiatives.
- Occasionally work on ladders to install or troubleshoot equipment.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Demonstrated experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT security protocols, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing multiple tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
