Pre-K Teacher (2025-2026 school year)

The Jay Westfield Joint Elementary School is seeking a Pre-school teacher. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and responsible professional who loves teaching young children with a variety of strengths and challenges. Experience using the Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS) and Teaching Strategies Gold Assessments is necessary. The school’s mission is to work together with kindness, resilience, and joy. Specific job requirements: Must have or be eligible for VT Licensure in Early Childhood (0-36). Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices. Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively with co-workers and parents. Warm & caring personality, flexible, creative, and possess a good sense of humor. At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
