What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-K Teacher (2025-2026 school year) position at Jay-Westfield Elementary School?
The Jay Westfield Joint Elementary School is seeking a Pre-school teacher. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and responsible professional who loves teaching young children with a variety of strengths and challenges. Experience using the Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS) and Teaching Strategies Gold Assessments is necessary.

Specific job requirements:
Must have or be eligible for VT Licensure in Early Childhood (0-36).
Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively with co-workers and parents.
Warm & caring personality, flexible, creative, and possess a good sense of humor.
At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
Salary & benefits: per Teacher’s Negotiated Agreement
