As the Associate Brand Manager in our Girls division, you will be assisting in the overall execution of product development and its associated activities, which are focused on achieving product development milestones and will assure that products are brought to market in a timely fashion. You will work along a cross-functional team, serving as a liaison within the company to freelance designers, global project managers, contract manufactures, and key international subsidiaries, to ensure new product development efforts are focused, well-coordinated and obtain key development milestone timelines and profitability.

What you will do:

  • Manage product line plans and other essential brand documents and tools and communicate any updates or changes for assigned brand(s)
  • Coordinate new product planning for every development season
  • Request, review and assist in the creative direction of product assets including e-commerce and artistic photography, copywriting, videography, trade shows materials, etc. to ensure brand consistency and vision is maintained
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of an efficient and searchable Brand Catalogue that can be used as a tool across all cross-functional teams
  • Partner with your cross-functional team to ensure brand integrity across all product development milestones and marketing initiatives
  • Research and identify trends in the toys or kids entertainment space to apply to assigned brands
  • Assist in line plan recommendations for assigned brand(s), ensuring a diverse product line that satisfies the needs of all retail channels and global territories
  • Manage multiple daily tasks, as well as larger, longer term projects, proactively, efficiently and accurately, and successfully adjust to shifts priorities in order to meet goals and deadlines
  • Gain a foundational understanding of brand profitability, financial objectives and build programs/product to meet and exceed those goals
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with our licensing partners and serve as a point of contact for communication and updates

What we are looking for:

  • BA or BS degree in Marketing or related field
  • 2 years of experience in marketing or brand role in consumer products industry; toy experience a plus
  • Well-developed organizational skills while juggling multiple projects at once
  • Strong research and analytical skills to tease out whitespace opportunities, positioning, and strategy
  • Ability to pivot quickly from one project to the next at varying stages of development without losing track
  • A firm grasp of social platforms, and their usage/features.
  • Trendy-savvy with a passion for studying and organizing insights in consumer products, toys, tech, games, fashion, art, influencer, and media
  • A strong brainstormer and collaborator with excellent communication skills
  • An artist with an eye for visual storytelling is a plus
  • A love of play and toys!

What we offer:

Salary range for this position: $70,000 - $103,155.00 /Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
