Role : Area Sales Manager – Water, Wastewater Treatment Solutions.

Salary : A Competitive Gross Basic Salary 20% Commission On All Sales Car Allowance (Flexibility on package depending on experience and resume).

Location : Remote, Michigan (role requires local travel).

The Client :

JBAndrews is working with one of the Northeast's most reputable Chemical Manufacturing firms within the Water, Wastewater solutions space. Having spent 30 years establishing themselves as a premier chemicals provider, they now seek to expand their operations into the Midwest, namely Michigan.

In this role, you will use your strategic insights and business development experience to seek out new sales opportunities across the state from clients across municipal & industrial markets. With Michigan being a relatively untapped market for the company, opportunities for career progression and substantial commissions are readily available for driven and ambitious sales professionals.

Responsibilities :

  • Utilize inside & outside sales techniques take on new business.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence within your assigned territory.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, and partnership prospects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on product applications and usage to both existing and potential clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s water treatment chemicals and services.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients within the area, providing support and ensuring timely resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Work with the intent to support the company in achieving its mid- to long-term goals.
  • Develop, present & negotiate proposals & contracts with new and existing customers.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • The ideal candidate will have 8 years of water, wastewater solutions sales experience.
  • Have strong customer experience across municipal and industrial markets.
  • Be able to travel up to 2 hours from their home base on a weekly basis.
  • Will ideally have a Science related college qualification.
  • Have a track record of meeting or achieving their sales targets.
  • Must be able to evidence strong business development experience.
