JBAndrews is proud to partner with a leading provider of automation solutions specializing in engineering, manufacturing, and onsite commissioning services across industries such as glass, metals, industrial, power and more. As part of its continued growth, the company is expanding its Power & Energy Business Unit and is seeking 2x talented Senior Electrical Engineers to strengthen its technical capabilities and support key projects.
About the Role :
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and optimizing power distribution systems, ensuring reliability and compliance with industry standards. You’ll work on projects involving switchgear, switchboards, PDUs, and panelboards , collaborating closely with mechanical and controls engineers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and analyze power systems for industrial automation applications.
- Perform power flow, harmonics, and short-circuit studies to optimize system performance.
- Specify and select components such as switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, and protective relays.
- Develop and implement protection schemes for equipment and personnel safety.
- Utilize Siemens Encompass and Square D’s SE Advantage for power system design.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
