Job Title: Accounting Manager
Rate: up to $90/hr

Location/TimeZone: Hybrid – On-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays; Remote Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays
Working Hours: (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST, including a 1-hour lunch break)
What are the TOP Critical Skills or Must Haves skills a candidate should have on their resume in order to be considered:
• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with financial analysis, US GAAP and IFRS.
• 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a management or leadership role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Desired skills:
CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree is a plus
• Experience in the entertainment industry preferred, ideally in transactional accounting
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office (specifically Excel), SAP and databases
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to work with large amounts of data – files by title, market, and territory
• Working knowledge of VAT & Withholding taxes
What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource:
• Manage and oversee the preparation of timely financial statements and corporate submissions/disclosures
• Oversee core accounting operations, including accounts receivable, revenue recognition, deferrals, and general ledger accounting and GL account reconciliations
• Review and post journal entries for all aspects of the business
• Manage the month-end financial reporting process
• Consolidate support schedules for internal and external requests
• Supervise a team of accounting staff, ensuring effective team performance and efficiency
• Fulfill ad-hoc requests as needed
Salary : $80 - $90
