Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Materials Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by managing various administrative tasks related to logistics.
This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the efficiency of our processes.
The Materials Clerk shall be responsible for supporting the Materials department in all aspects of operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, shipment verification, receiving verification, customer portal duties, MRO duties, warehousing duties, and cycle counts.
The Materials Clerk will report to the Sourcing Manager.
Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
· Verify accuracy of shipments to all customers prior to shipment
· Use production schedules to create ASN
· Warehouse duties, including driving a vehicle between warehouses
· Assist with Material Handling responsibilities (forklift driving)
· Work with Production Coordinator to organize and maintain the MRO cage including put away of receipts
· Cycle counts as assigned
· Contingency for Materials Coordinator (shipping and receiving)
· Assist with entering data into M2M
· Other duties as assigned by JBE management
Qualifications
The Materials Clerk shall possess:
· High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience or Associate’s Degree preferred
· Relevant experience in Materials Management (warehousing and logistics preferred).
· Proficient use of personal computers and relevant software to include all Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Valid SC driver’s license
· Forklift certified
· Strong problem solving and organization skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects successfully.

· Ability to work while standing, sitting, walking and/or driving
· Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
· Ability to squat, crawl, climb and/or reach
· Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 40 pounds
· Ability to tolerate being around machinery, exposure to changes in temperature and humidity and exposure to dust and fumes
