The salary for this position will be based on experience, knowledge, and education, with an annual bonus of 0% - 15% of base salary. Job Description
This Chemical Laboratory Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining a high level of process control, as defined by 6-Sigma capability for all key processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing laboratory processes, including selecting, maintaining, standardizing, and operating analytical equipment. Experience with LECO and OES is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience in chemical analysis in a primary metals production facility preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to maintain open communication with peers, management, and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate special and common cause variations to processes.
