Key Responsibilities :
Designing and analyzing mechanical components and assemblies to meet manufacturing and cost targets.
Managing projects and reporting progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Planning and reporting on structural and flight tests, including technical writing.
Coding jobs for external work, such as customer data parsing and internal process improvements.
Prototyping and manufacturing test articles and low-volume production hardware.
Reading, interpreting, and applying international aviation standards and regulations.
Researching industry trends, tools, methods, and regulations and reporting findings internally and externally.
Traveling to client or government sites to assist with testing, data collection, or reporting.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical, aerospace, or related field).
Designing and analyzing parts and systems using CAD / CAE tools.
Demonstrating strong attention to detail for high-stakes mechanical and electrical designs.
Assessing incomplete information, identifying gaps, and making informed recommendations.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously in an agile work environment.
Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Applying systems-level thinking to consider design interfaces and broader project implications.
Understanding product configuration control and change management processes.
Thriving both in a team environment and when working independently.
Learning and applying new skills quickly as a self-starter.
