Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and coordinating vendor activities, including trades assigned to complete utility and infrastructure upgrades, equipment riggers, crane operators, and construction teams.
- Performing safety walkthroughs, assessments, and contractor briefings while developing safety mitigation actions before work begins.
- Ensuring vendor compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Leading troubleshooting and resolution efforts for project-related issues, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and utility infrastructure malfunctions.
- Planning, executing, and overseeing large-scale utility and infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Developing project budgets, tracking expenses, and managing vendor invoices while ensuring financial compliance.
- Using digital systems to process project purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and budget constraints.
- Assisting in negotiating vendor contracts, service agreements, and warranties to optimize service quality and cost savings.
- Leading teams in the development of project charters and comprehensive project management plans.
- Meeting with project stakeholders to understand and refine project scope, creating detailed work breakdown structures.
- Developing and managing project Gantt charts, identifying major workstreams, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Developing risk management plans by identifying, analyzing, and monitoring project risks and response strategies.
- Developing stakeholder management plans, analyzing expectations, and delivering project reports to senior leadership.
- Building and tracking overall project timelines while monitoring and mitigating risks.
- Providing input for Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) and tracking workstream project expenses.
- Creating resource plans, managing project resources, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Delivering project Gantt chart commitments within time, resource, and budget constraints.
- Managing OnePPM inputs and reports.
- Setting up and leading recurring project meetings while tracking meeting minutes and action items.
- Identifying alternative solutions to project risks and proactively communicating key project KPIs and metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of post-graduate work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
- Strong ability to work independently and drive productivity, change, and outcomes.
- Highly detail-oriented with a dedication to quality and compliance.
- Exceptional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Growth mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- PMP or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
