QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma required, post high school education preferred
- Management experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong communication skills required
- Speak, Read, Write in English
- Bi-lingual preferred but not required
- Knowledge of beef production processes a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures area is properly staffed to meet operational needs
- Monitors production area by evaluating product and administering corrective procedures as sees fit (i.e. provides on the job training and support to supervisor).
- Meets volume goals, Reduce claims, Maximize yields, Reduce costs
- Maintain a good working relationship with Union, USDA, Quality Control and Maintenance employees
- Manage the movement of bids, new hire placement, and turnover reduction
- Facilitate and/or participate in group meetings
- Ensure company policies are being followed
- Maintains work safety regulations.
- Greets and speaks with personnel to provide cohesive working environment
- Other duties as assigned
