PROJECT ENGINEER

Type of position: Full-time Hours: Flexible as needed or required Work 40 hours per week in office and plant facilities. Possible exposure to slippery floors, extreme temperature variations, loud noise, chemicals, sharp objects (knives), machinery, and vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Previous Experience in construction, mechanical contract work, or any building trades.
- Computer Skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets, and drafting programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and coordinate large projects duties.
- Coordinate efforts of contractors involved with finishing construction of new or redesigned areas for
- plant facility while managing projects being on time, on budget and to specification
- Participate in design and layout aspects of special projects. Change to: Lead efforts pertaining to design and layout of special projects
- Obtain competitive bids for future projects.
- Assign necessary personnel to designated areas for completion of projects.
- Arrange to have appropriate records prepared and maintained.
- Attend meetings as needed or called.
- Frequent communication with maintenance, purchasing, production, storeroom, and other departments involved with any aspect of special projects.
- Perform various other duties as needed or assigned.
- Lead the efforts to complete Capital Planning

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base annual salary range of : $70 -80K
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
