The Opportunity ...
You will be aligned to the Tipper Tie Product line and responsible for managing manufacturing operations at 2 facilities in Apex, NC.
As our Director of Operations– you will report to the President of the Division.
You will have direct reports to include: managers of Safety, Quality, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Continuous Improvement.
On a given day, you may:
You will manage performance through the development of short and long-term operating goals. Set standards for safety, continuous improvement, quality, cost reduction, and production efficiency. You will be responsible for financial performance. You will develop the leadership team.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Requirements for the role
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Business, Engineering, or technical field Required.
- 10 years of increasingly responsible manufacturing experience and direct management experience.
- Direct experience building and instilling a "the best" operations environment.
- Experience developing Lean practices and measurable actions plans for manufacturing improvement
- Experience leading supply chain and planning
- Experience applying Lean Methodology principles within manufacturing
- Collaborative management style which builds teamwork culture.
- Experience financial principles for operations, including firm understanding of cost, inventory, and P&L.
- Background in industry standard safety processes.
- Experience with multi-site leadership in high-volume and engineered production manufacturing environment
Travel & Location
- Travel of up to 20% required to attend business meetings
