We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager with a strong background in software productization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, with an emphasis on software products. Experience in robotics or industrial automation is a big added value, as there is a strong interaction between the software stack and the underlying control architecture. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
The product manager role will be tasked by identifying customer needs and turning that vision into a reality. You will focus on delivering standardized products and product capabilities for JBT Automated Systems.
The product manager will be a central figure within the organization and will be able to collaborate with all the company's stakeholders : from supporting sales and marketing to collaborating with engineering, R&D, legal, supply chain, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Roadmap : Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the AGV software and underlying control architecture, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
- Market Research : Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Utilize this information to inform product development.
- Product Development : Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure successful product development and delivery. Collaborate with legal department to protect intellectual property of the developed product line.
- Go-to-Market Strategy : Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional plans.
- Stakeholder Management : Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders, including senior management, sales, marketing, and customer support teams.
- Customer Engagement : Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Performance Metrics : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future product decisions.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve product offerings.
