Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Test Technician - Vehicle Debug and Validation Specialist to join our team at JBT Corporation.
About the Role: As a Test Technician - Vehicle Debug and Validation Specialist, you will be responsible for debugging, validating, and documenting automated guided vehicles (AGVs) prior to shipment to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completes Vehicle Test Plans which may include tasks such as electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic debug of AGVs, vehicle configuration adjustment, vehicle calibration and tuning, validation of project requirements, validation of vehicle safety systems, and assisting with application software development and documentation.
- Documents changes to test and debug processes and implements changes to the test environment hardware or software.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Engineering or Software from a two-year college or university, or the equivalent education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Previous software development experience, including revision control, and familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Proficient in the use of electrical/electronic test equipment.
Special Requirements:
- Ability to travel, domestic and international, up to 25%.
- Current valid driver's license.
