As a full-service, non-profit organization, the JCC provides educational, cultural, recreational, and ph y sical fitness programs to enhance the qualit y of life for all ages, from infants to senior citizens. The JCC's facilit y houses a natatorium with a 2250 sq. ft. pool, g y mnasium, fitness center, men's and women's health clubs, steam, sauna, a fitness loft with spin bikes and Pilates reformers, auditorium, and more. Over 200 children are served dail y at our award-winning Earl y Childhood Center. Our y ear-round educational childcare includes UPK, after-school program, summer camp, and y outh sports offerings.
The 8-acre land also features outdoor tennis/ p ickleball and basketball courts, pavilion, nature preserve, soccer field, and three age-appropriate pla y ground facilities.

- Supervision & Leadership
- Recruit, train, and supervise 30 team members including Asst. Camp Director, Unit Heads, Specialists, Counselors, Jr. Counselors, Camp Medic, Head Lifeguard, and Behavior Management Specialist.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes character development, teamwork, and fun.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, schools, and communit y partners to build program engagement.
- Program Development and Deliver y
- Design, implement, and continuousl y evaluate to ensure high qualit y offerings that meet the communit y 's needs.
- Create innovative activities that support child development, leadership skills, social-emotional learning, and recreational enjo y ment.
- Oversee budget planning, financial tracking, and resource allocation to support program stabilit y .
- Manage registration process, program enrollment, and accurate reporting on participation and outcomes .
- Work closel y with Facilities Director to ensure all program spaces are properl y maintained and prepared for camp activities.
- Administration and Operations
- Manage dail y operations of camp programs, ensuring compliance with all health, safet y , and licensing regulations through DOH.
- Plan, document, and clearl y communicate a robust travel camp program.
- Oversee budget planning, financial management , and resource allocation for all camp programs.
- Administer registration process, monitor enro llment, and maintain accurate program records and reports .
- Work closel y with Facilities Director to ensure facilities and equipment are safe, well-maintained, and read y for program use.

- Develop and implement a y ear-round strateg y to ensure successful recruitment and retention of campers in a competitive market.
- Attend and provide support at JCC-wide events including, but not limited to: Purim Carnival, Gala, Open Houses, etc.
- Other duties as needed to provide support for overall operations of the JCC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, recreation, y outh development, or related field ( or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum of 3 y ears' experience in y outh programming, camp leadership, or related roles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including staff evaluation and development.
- Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and evaluating camp programs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Abilit y to manage budgets, financial planning, and administrative tasks effectivel y .
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
- Experience with outdoor education and recreational programming preferred.
- Abilit y to remain calm and effective under pressure and in d y namic environments.
