What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Housekeeping Manager position at JCH Hospitality Management?
Essential Job Responsibilities:
*Personally approach encounters with guests and employeesin an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
*Maintain and upkeep certification requirements asapplicable for the position which include specific hotel training by brand and CPR.
*Interview, hire, schedule department staff including allhousekeeping, houseman, and laundry personnel.
*Monitor and direct all department staff. This includes making sure newly employees are trained to perform their duties and in proper uniform (per brand standards).
*Always ensure and enforce that all employees are attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and other employees.
*Inspect rooms, general public areas and back of the house areas for proper cleanliness standards.
*Establish and maintain a key control system for the department.
*Maintain linen inventory par level necessary. When necessary and appropriate, place orders to upkeep inventory/stock.
*Oversee the organization, upkeep, and cleanliness of linen both in laundry and in general storage areas.
*Work closely with maintenance to ensure the proper upkeep and best condition of guest rooms.
*All other duties assigned by the General Manager and/or Management Company.
Hotel Executive Housekeeping Experience preferred; PEP knowledge a plus.
