Position Overview and Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Lead to oversee all aspects related to the continued operation and maintenance programs of the site as well as participate in the daily operations of the facility. This position will give the successful candidate an opportunity to learn and grow their own skillsets in all aspects of aseptic production, batching technologies and how to execute R&D programs on new equipment technology.

As the Operations Lead, you will play a fundamental role in the development, implementation and continued support of preventative maintenance programs and overhauls as your main area of accountability. You will interact daily with our customers and operate any/all equipment onsite to help the rest of the UltraPhil team produce product samples for our customers.

While each employee of UltraPhil will have their own unique areas of focus and accountability as listed above, each employee will also have a broad-stroke skill set which includes:

• Ability to run and maintain every piece of production equipment, utilities & lab instrumentation and troubleshoot issues with same
• Perform all PM and calibration tasks of above
• Execute production area sanitation protocols post runs and in general
• Perform all shipping and receiving functions

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience role in manufacturing/production setting
• Experience working in a plant or equipment vendor/manufacturer with hands on equipment experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, controls, control panels and wiring
• Experience in operating, maintaining or troubleshooting automated processes
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to understand and utilize inventory systems
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with the repair and service of process-related machines and products.
• Prior technical, mechanical, and electrical training. Must be able to read and work with electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and other related drawings.
• Experience interacting with customers a plus
• Working knowledge of software (preferably with PLC programming) and hardware applications, including instrumentation testing and calibration equipment a plus

Physical Qualifications:

Sit, climb, stand, bend, kneel, walk, squat, bend, climb stairs, reach and work in hot or cold temperatures.

Light physical effort with frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials up to 40 lbs.

Ability to operate a powered pallet jack
