JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a multinational investment bank looking to bring an Internal Audit Manager to their team. As Internal Audit Manager, will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of the internal audit function, providing valuable insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. This is a hybrid work opportunity with 3 days in the firm's Jersey City office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute comprehensive internal audits across various business units and functions within the bank, in accordance with established audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop risk-based audit plans and programs, incorporating a thorough understanding of the bank's operations, processes, and regulatory environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business line management, risk management, and compliance functions, to promote a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in internal audit, preferably within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of banking products, operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant audit tools and technologies, including data analytics and audit management systems, is desirable.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
