JCW Search is working with a leading Investment Management Firm to find an Audit Analyst with a strong focus on Capital Markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious audit professional to join a globally recognized firm and play an integral role in assessing and auditing their capital markets operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed audits on capital market transactions, investment portfolios, and financial instruments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Analyze financial statements and audit results, with a focus on capital market activities such as securities, derivatives, and structured products.
- Collaborate with senior audit managers and stakeholders to provide insights on financial reporting, risk management, and control frameworks.
- Assist in developing audit plans, identifying potential risks, and recommending solutions to mitigate issues in capital markets transactions.
- Support the audit team in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, financial systems, and regulatory compliance within the investment management space.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and regulatory changes in the capital markets sector and ensure audits reflect these changes.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 1-4 years of audit experience, preferably with exposure to capital markets or investment management.
- Strong understanding of capital market products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured finance.
- Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and relevant industry regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple audit engagements concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with senior management and stakeholders across various departments.
