What are the responsibilities and job description for the AVP, Infrastructure Network Ops position at JCW?
JCW has partnered with a large financial service firm that plays a critical role in the global FX market. They are seeking an AVP, Infrastructure Network Ops to join their team in NJ. In this role you will hands on experience in implementing, troubleshooting and supporting network technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily network operations, including monitoring, issue resolution, and firmware upgrades.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as operational runbooks, network diagrams, and process flows.
- Expertise in routing/switching, Cisco ACI, and wireless network management
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ASA/FIREPOWER and Checkpoint firewalls (Fortinet experience is a plus, but not required).
- Proficient in using packet capture tools like Wireshark for troubleshooting and analysis.
- Familiar with SolarWinds for network performance monitoring and Infoblox for IPAM solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with firmware upgrades and ongoing management of network infrastructure.
