Senior Counsel, M&A (Renewable Energy)

Our client, a leading firm in the power and energy infrastructure sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel to join their private equity team. They are looking for an experienced attorney to manage and drive various M&A, financing, and corporate transactions.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage all stages of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic transactions, from initial bids and due diligence through to drafting and negotiating term sheets
• Oversee closing transactions and post-closing integration
• Prepare materials for investment committee meetings related to M&A transactions.
• Lead financing activities related to M&A transactions and debt refinancing

You should apply if you have:

• JD from a reputable law school
• 5 years of experience handling complex M&A and other corporate transactions
• Experience working within the renewable energy industry, either from in-house or private practice perspective
