We offer complete custom jewelry design services, such as case-ready semi-customizable mounting. We serve the Northwest Territories and major national chain jewelry companies.
Watch Repair Technician (2 Positions Available)
This position is responsible for the quality repairs and services for numerous brands and brand standards. Applicant should be able to adapt his/her skills to work on a variety of watches including mechanical, automatic & quartz movements; chronographs are a plus.
Responsibilities: * Appropriately estimate needs of each timepiece shown
- Assemble all case components, check and ensure the waterproofness of cases
- Full service on movements, movement dismantling, replacement/fixing of broken parts, cleaning, reassembling, rate check and adjustments
- Analyze and make decisions to define proper methodology to repair movements
- Use or develop adequate tools or processes to correct issues that can arise during the repair process
- Respond to needs quickly, at times performing emergency repairs under pressure
- Ensure all required services for the customer have been carried out and watches are ready to
- Work in coordination with the rest of the team to ensure smooth operations (maintain equipment & tools, order consumables)
- Maintain a clean and efficient space in personal work area and in general workshop
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Watch Repair Technician
· Must maintain a quick & efficient workflow, repairing numerous watches per day, mixing complex and standard work tasks
· Must be independently able to successfully complete repair tasks such as:
· Repair crowns, stems, dials and gaskets; chain and clasp repairs; crystal replacement, pressure seal and test; repair of movement pieces and time accuracy analyzer
· Battery replacement
· Prior experience and knowledge of correct way to restore family heirloom time pieces
· Must be able to use Swiss standard equipment such as Witschi timing and water resistance equipment, to properly control job
· Team player, good communication skills, drive for excellence, customer service focus, ability to cope under pressure in a busy & fast paced environment, enthusiastic & self-motivated
· Salary commensurate with experience

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
