Key Responsibilities
- Product Innovation: Lead the cross-functional commercial and technical team to define product requirements for the next generation of product innovations that will delight consumer insights. Champion innovation through key leadership gate process.
- Product Commercialization: Own and champion many aspects of the commercialization process including briefing and creating product assets needed through the creative process with various agencies & HQ. Ensure assets meet all channel requirements and consumer objectives.
- Business Analytics and Insights Mining: Support business needs with ad hoc analysis and insight mining to identify new areas of opportunity.
- Financial Acumen: Lead budget analysis and management monthly. Build business cases to support initiatives and sell in new marketing programs.
- Sales Channel Support: Work with sales and insights team to partner on the new product innovation sales materials for various customer meetings and customer communications. Understand differences between wholesale and ecommerce business support and details needed for the various channels.
- Cross-Functional Team and Agency Management: This role works closely with a broad cross-section of the organization and some outside vendors. It is important to be adept at managing those who don’t report to you.
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing and/ or product experience, preferably in consumer goods and/or ecommerce driven business.
- Bachelors required, Business or Marketing degree a plus, MBA a plus
- Experience managing cross functional teams and driving business decisions based on data
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects, understand project management and meet deadlines.
- Desire to work in a small, entrepreneurial company. This is a roll-up your sleeves environment and works well for people who embrace ambiguity.
