We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with the ability to fabricate and weld as needed, while also providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Fabricate and weld components as necessary to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with external contractors when required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct residential painting tasks to enhance the appearance of facilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Proficient in electrical systems, plumbing, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to fabricate and weld metal components as needed.
- Strong understanding of schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
