Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities at manufacturing plants to expand the company’s industrial services portfolio.
- Satellite Office Management: Oversee daily operations of the satellite office, ensuring alignment with divisional financial goals and operational efficiency.
- Project Oversight: Ensure projects are executed efficiently, meeting established standards for schedule, quality, safety, and budget while addressing and resolving project constraints.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage operational and overhead budgets for the satellite office, providing strategic planning to achieve financial, safety, and project goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams to promote cooperation, efficiency, and accountability, supporting the overall success of assigned projects.
- Customer Satisfaction: Deliver high-quality projects that exceed customer expectations, adhering to the scope, timeline, and budget outlined in executed contract documents.
- Strategic Planning: Set and monitor goals for the satellite office, including financial performance, safety compliance, and operational excellence.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred but not required
- 10 years of experience in industrial services, project management, or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and business development.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and drive performance.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial operations, safety standards, and project execution within manufacturing environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, teams, and stakeholders effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to two hours as needed to support satellite office operations and project requirements.
- Experience managing satellite or regional offices in an industrial or manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in project management software and financial tracking tools.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or safety standards (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
- This position requires travel to manufacturing plants, project sites, company offices and the satellite office withing the region.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
