Our client is searching for a candidate that will perform laboratory tests in Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology / Serology, Clinical Microscopy and Microbiology.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Medical lab Technician / Technologist are responsible for accurately processing, analyzing and reporting laboratory results with limited supervision while maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Must understand quality control monitoring, computer applications, troubleshooting when necessary.
- Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance
- Perform a variety of routine and special laboratory procedures as authorized by the Manager or Director including rotation through at least three (3) areas of the Clinical Lab : Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Immunology / Serology, and Microbiology.
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments; record data and maintain equipment
- Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed
- Use universal safety precautions to protect self and co-workers from bio-hazardous materials, including blood-borne pathogens
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology or Chemistry. MT, MLT degree preferred.
