The Quality Manager will manage and coordinate Quality support for a group. This position will be responsible for planning, implementing and supervising construction quality assurance programs in compliance with contract documents and Company policy. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Creates Project Specific Quality Plans, assigns accountability to the appropriate individuals for each task and ensures the Plan is regularly updated.
Creates Project Specific Water Intrusion Plan, assigns accountability to the appropriate individuals for each task and ensures the Plan is regularly updatedEnsures the Project Quality Status Report is completed prior to the Monthly Project Review MeetingParticipates in creating National Initiatives such as Quality Assurance Manual Updates, Quality Broadcasts, Quality University, etc.Ensures all Major Quality Issues are listed and up-to-date on the Project Quality Status ReportManages and coordinates Quality support for a group (process and people)Provides updated communication about quality philosophies, JE Dunn quality standards and values of the Company with business partners, foreman, superintendents and project managers to ensure complianceInterprets company, owner and government requirements and recommendations in relation to quality construction methods and processes with field and office staffProvides coordination and oversight to the project specific quality planPerforms QA constructability reviews for assigned regional or national projectsConducts and assists with planning and design of quality-related training programs and classes with internal employees and external business partnersUtilizes internal quality assurance systems and tools to prepare reports for field superintendents, project managers and subcontractors detailing compliant and non-compliant conditionsConducts warranty-related investigations in support of operations and makes recommendations for corrective actionEnsures field observations and reporting is properly documented through internal Company systems and tools and monitors for resolutionMay be required to review and certify submittals for accuracyParticipates in staff, team or quality committee meetings, fostering quality efforts, reporting on quality trends or issues and creating communication plans to mitigate the issuesServes as onsite quality representative on single project or multiple projects as neededPartners with project team to complete subcontractor quality performance evaluations at project completionDevelops robust relationships with internal and external clients, including owners, business partners, manufacturer’s reps and third-party consultantsConducts routine, consistent communication / updates with supported project leadsProvides mentorship and guidance to other team membersN / A
