The Quality Control Technician will directly assist the Quality Control Lead at DreamFields Michigan, ensuring that only compliant products proceed through the manufacturing process. This role involves inspecting products before, during, and after production, accurately tracking defects, and maintaining thorough documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, work-in-process materials, finished goods, and packaged cases to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Review and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and specifications.
- Correctly categorize rejects based on observed defect(s) and document inspection results.
- Communicate quality- or compliance-related issues clearly and effectively to the QC and Production teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Meticulous attention to detail for accurately inspecting product and identifying defects.
- Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing manufacturing defects.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with the QC and Production teams.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
