Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented with ability to multitask while prioritize tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in various Social Media Platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to work full-time hours with a varying schedule (Scheduled hours will vary based on scheduled events. With weekends and evenings as needed)
- Schedule timeline Mid-May through end of August
- Monday – Friday (primarily scheduled)
- Starting hourly wage of $17/hour
- Favorable driving record
- Preferred, but not required: Experience in post-production and content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Lightroom, and similar platforms
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for various platforms including social media, website, and email campaigns
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends
- Assist with marketing and community events, including logistics, registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing materials
- Be a brand ambassador while staffing events
