Jeff Cook Real Estate LPT Realty is seeking a dynamic transaction coordinator to join our team. This role is not about managing—it’s about leading. Preferred but not required for the right person.

  • A high level of proficiency with the following systems: SkySlope, Follow Up Boss, and GMail Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Drive, Docs, Calendar). Additionally, we would prefer familiarity with Sisu, FlexMLS, Matrix and Paragon.
  • Understanding of the South Carolina License Law and a strong understanding of the real estate process from pre-listing to live listing and from contract to closing.
  • A real estate license is not required, though experience as a licensed agent or an un-licensed transaction/closing coordinator is preferred
  • Local to Charleston/Summerville surrounding area preferred. Hybrid in office and virtual setting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the pre-listing and closing process
  • Act as liaison between real estate agents, photographers, clients, attorneys, and mortgage brokers during the pre-listing and closing process.
  • Effectively manage the administrative tasks involved in listing a property and closing a sale
  • Compliance sales contracts and listing agreements
  • Create timelines and follow up with individuals as needed to ensure all deadlines are met and contingencies are released
  • Create/update transactions, spreadsheets, and programs.
  • Communicate with other departments internally about changes/updates to transactions
  • Maintain accurate information in all platforms for all transactions
  • Create a transaction file in contract management software for all transactions
  • Understand sales and listing contracts in order to summarize all important terms, conditions, and contingency dates
  • Communicate with the agent several times throughout the transaction including all important dates, missing documents, calendar reminders, file compliance status, etc
  • Communicate regularly with the client to send them reminders, check-in, and let them know what to expect in each step of the closing process
  • Establish relationships with all third parties including lenders, inspectors, appraisers, and all agents in order to ensure a smooth closing process and share relevant information
  • Draft any addenda needed along the way, upload, send for signatures, and ensure they are shared with relevant parties
  • Be the first point of contact/resource for all questions that arise throughout the closing process from the agent (and client, attorneys, lenders, appraisers, other transaction coordinators/Realtors, etc.)
  • Coordinate closing date, time, and location and notify all parties
  • Notify client about utility accounts to set up/cancel
  • Seek to expand services offered and improve efficiency as laid out by the Transaction Manager and Director of Operations.

  • Base salary with bonus structure per transaction
